ChildhoodBoy

Childhoodboy is an independent artist from the city of Chicago. He is a painter, digital illustrator, and a photographer. His work explores intersections of emotion, memory, and identity which often reflects on childhood as both a space of freedom and a way of understanding the present.

Influenced by subway graffiti and Japanese anime illustration, he tries to blend these styles together to create a unique visual language and identity. Through this he explores personal and collective memories and reimagined childhood experiences in a visually pleasing way. He invites his viewers to a world where memory and imagination intersect.
